The olfactory story of Maria Candida Gentile

Olfactory notes

I arrive at Villa Cordevigo during the harvest period and it is right here, in the midst of the vineyards, that I begin to explore this wonderful Veronese estate that converses the soul of the place and its wonderful history.

The next day I spent a few hours at the back of the Villa, where I began to take note of the majestic trees present: horse chestnuts, yews and poplars. Around the Villa there was a vegetable garden and an orchard with many cherry, peach, lemon and fig trees and from this information I will take inspiration for the top notes of this perfume.

Examining the list of plants present in the Villa, from the nineteenth century up to the present time, in addition to those already mentioned above, I was struck by the presence of many mulberry trees and so, by inquiring, I learned that the sericulture.

A large area of the property was dedicated to the spinning mill, I imagine the great work that was done to grow the silkworms and to be able to spin the silk. So I decided to create a mulberry accord, to pay homage to the past and history of this place and this region, where Venetian merchants famously sold silks all over the world.
