Villa Cordevigo Rosso

Veronese IGT

Villa Cordevigo Rosso, as the name suggests, is produced from grapes cultivated on the Villa Cordevigo estate: Corvino, Cabernet Savignon, Merlot. From late harvest grapes with light appassimento, or air-drying, to concentrate flavours. Aging in large cherry-wood barrels. Intense bouquet of cherry and wild woodland fruits with a hint of cocoa, plum and tobacco; it envelopes the palate with soft, elegant tannins. Ideal with all meats, game and lamb as well as matured cheeses.

Villa Cordevigo Bianco

Veronese IGT

Villa Cordevigo Bianco is produced from Garganega and Sauvignon blanc grapes, cultivated on the eponymous estate with light appassimento or air-drying to concentrate the fruit flavours. Ageing in French oak barrels from Allier, in which part of the malolactic fermentation is also carried out. With an intense fruity bouquet of Golden Delicious apple, small pink plum, pineapple and citrus with a hint of honey, it is full, rich and sapid on the palate with a touch of vegetable and mineral. Ideal with fresh and seawater fish, white meats, asparagus and lightly matured cheeses.

Villa Cordevigo Gaudenzia

Chiaretto Di Bardolino Classico DOC

Corvina and Rondinella grapes from the hills behind Garda, vinified and matured in stainless steel, that make the Chiaretto called Villa Cordevigo Gaudenzia. Pale pink in colour with floral notes and scents of delicate red summer fruits that are repeated on the palate with a slight hint of spices and aromatic herbs; sapid with a mineral note. This wine pairs beautifully with fish starters, salamis, sea and fresh water fish and is particularly interesting with pizza and paella.

Villa Cordevigo Aristeo

Caratteristiche

Aristeo is made with Corvina and Rondinella grapes from the morenic hills around Lake Garda. Maceration and fermentation is on the skins for about 10 days followed by ageing in large oak barrels and in the bottle. Ruby red tending to garnet, delicately fruity and fragrant on the nose with spicy and balsamic notes. Red fruits and spice are tangy on the palate. It is versatile in pairing and is ideal served with meat, vegetable and fish antipasti, pasta with sauces, ravioli, risotto, pasta e fagioli, grilled white meats or in sauce, red meat, aperitifs.

Villa Cordevigo Oseleta

Veronese IGT

Oseleta is the name of the local Veronese vine and grape grown on the Villa Cordevigo estate and also the name of the wine, 100% composed of the grape. The grapes are air-dried in special rooms called “fruttai” for 40-50 days then the wine rests for a long time in tonneaux. Deep purplish-ruby in colour, the macerated red fruit scents mix with hints of white chocolate, spices and flowers. Its rounded, soft, velvety smooth taste is reminiscent of ripe red fruit with a touch of pipe tobacco and walnut. Long ageing in the bottle softens tannins to give a complex wine which reveals its true character over the course of time. A great accompaniment to game and matured cheese, also a wine to be enjoyed on its own after dinner.

Villa Cordevigo Chardonnay Biologico

Garda Biologico DOC

Villa Cordevigo Chardonnay comes of organic cultivation of chardonnay grapes on the Villa Cordevigo estate and maturing of the wine in stainless steel. Intense straw colour with floral and fruity notes, particularly of pineapple, with a pleasant hint of mineral and mint, bringing fresh, tangy sensations to the palate. Ideal with sea and fresh water fish, grilled white meats and vegetarian dishes. Very successful served as an aperitif.

Chiaretto di Bardolino Classico Biologico DOC

This Villa Cordevigo Chiaretto di Bardolino, from Corvina and Rondinella grapes organically cultivated  in the estate vineyards, is matured in stainless steel. A pale pink colour with citrus and floral scents, fresh and fragrant on the palate, it marries good acidity and sapidity with a pleasant hint of fruit. Typically, summer dishes find their finest expression with this Chiaretto, especially fish starters, pasta in general, tortellini, risotto, sea and fresh water fish. Excellent with pizza and paella.

Bardolino Classico Biologico DOC

Made with Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone grapes cultivated organically on the Villa Cordevigo estate, Villa Cordevigo Bardolino is matured in stainless steel. Its colour is ruby red with garnet reflections, there is a hint of spice, particularly black pepper, with the floral scent of violet and ripe cherry on the nose. It is rich smooth and tangy on the palate, making it very versatile to drink throughout a typically Italian meal, especially mixed antipasti, pasta with meat sauces, grilled white meats and mixed boiled meats.

Villa Cordevigo Fiordilej

Passito Bianco del Veneto IGT

Garganega and Incrocio Manzoni grapes from the hills behind Lake Garda are air-dried in shallow crates and fermented and aged in stainless steel. Bright golden yellow in colour, it is reminiscent of acacia honey, dried apricot and tropical fruits. Sweetness on the palate is clean and fruity with a hint of flowers, vanilla and hazelnut. There is an elegant aftertaste of almond with the fine acidity typical of northern Italian regions. Ideal with pastries, apple pie and strudel but also excellent with blue cheese or foie gras.
